The SWT3-21-H 2x1 4K60 HDMI Switcher from Kramer is an intelligent 2x1 automatic HDMI switcher designed to handle video resolutions up to 4K60, with support for 3D, HDR, and HDCP 2.2. Featuring two HDMI inputs and a single HDMI output, it provides flexible source switching for presentation, meeting room, and professional AV applications.
The switcher can automatically select an active source according to user-configured preferences, including priority or last-connected input, while manual front-panel switching can override automatic operation. Kramer’s I-EDIDPro intelligent EDID processing helps ensure reliable plug-and-play communication between HDMI sources and displays.
For professional audio applications, the SWT3-21-H supports multi-channel digital audio switching and audio de-embedding, converting the digital HDMI audio signal to balanced analog stereo output. This allows audio to be routed simultaneously to a local professional audio system while continuing to play through the connected HDMI display.
The switcher also provides flexible control options, including front-panel buttons, an embedded web interface, IP-based control, RS-232, and configurable contact-closure inputs. Its built-in intelligent control gateway enables remote control of connected HDMI and sensor devices through RS-232 or I/O without requiring an external gateway, simplifying integration with systems such as Kramer Control.
Additional features include CEC display power control, 802.1x authentication for secure network operation, PoE powering through the LAN connection, and a compact, fanless DemiTOOLS enclosure. The unit can be table-mounted or installed side-by-side with a second unit in a 1 RU rack space using an optional rack adapter.
