The Amaran Ray 660c RGB LED Monolight is the brand’s highest-output COB light, delivering 660 W of full-colour power with OmniColor technology and advanced features for professional studio use. Designed to illuminate subjects or fill large studios, the Ray 660c combines a streamlined monolight design with intuitive onboard control via the FlowTurn knob and NFC one-tap pairing, along with app management via Bluetooth. For more advanced setups, optional DMX control via USB-C is available. The light offers a wide colour temperature range of 1800–20,000 K in CCT+ mode, full 360° HSI and RGB colour control, and high colour accuracy, making it suitable for demanding productions. Its IP54 dust and water-splash-resistant design ensures durability in challenging environments.

The bare light delivers up to 38,500 lux at 1 m (4300 K), which increases to 91,600 lux when used with the included reflector. A separately available Fresnel allows for variable spot-to-flood beam control, while the light produces 45,904 lumens with minimal green-magenta shift. High colour fidelity ratings (CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87, TM-30 94/100) ensure true-to-life skin tones and consistent colours, whether on camera or to the eye. With 0–100% stepless brightness control and 12 FX presets, including fireworks, lightning, TV, strobe, fire, and paparazzi effects, the Ray 660c offers extensive creative flexibility for studio and production work.

Other highlights include Quick Operation mode, customisable shortcuts, High-Speed Photography and Studio modes, and a clear TFT display for intuitive onboard control. Bluetooth app control extends up to 80 m, and NFC one-tap pairing simplifies remote management. For advanced multi-light setups, the separately available amaran USB-C to 5-pin DMX adapter allows integration with industry-standard consoles and software, making it easy to create precise cues, synchronised multi-light scenes, or repeatable effects.

The Ray 660c features an integrated AC power supply, eliminating the need for bulky external bricks and keeping your studio space clean and efficient. A 5 m AC power cable is included for convenient operation. Dust and splash resistance, combined with quiet active fan cooling at 28 dBA (maximum output), makes the light suitable for sound-sensitive environments, with selectable silent and innovative fan modes for additional flexibility.

Wide compatibility is provided through a full-size Bowens mount, included reflector, optional Fresnel, and a yoke design that allows precise tilt. A dual junior/baby pin receiver mounting system and a built-in safety chain bracket add security and versatility when positioning the light.
