Manfrotto 394 Low Profile Quick Release Adapter with 410PL Plate

These adapters are fantastic, very strong build and very sturdy. They are a great way to quickly mount/dismount your camera from any other accessories (tripods, gimbals, sliders, etc.) My only issue with these is that I could not find a way to just purchase the actual locking plate on it's own, I could only find the actual camera side of the adaptor for sale separately. I wanted to purchase a few of these for different accessories and had to buy the whole 2 parts which isn't a big deal but I am sure it is more expensive this way and I now have a few of the camera-side adapters just laying around.

Works great and is quick and easy to use/set up

These are a great low profile solution for the DSLR Video shooter. I can go from a cage to a tripod to a cage and a tripod with a few clicks! Works great on my Glidecam. Massive timesaver. They're just a tad on the heavy side if you're trekking through the Aussie bush, but bullet proof enough to deal with anything.One important note: These can seem to get stuck if you get into the habit of holding down the safety catch as you pull the release lever. It's not necessary until you get the lever half open and can cause it to jam and not move at all.
