Pelican 1400 Case Overview

The Pelican 1400 Case with Foam in Black is a rugged, protective hard case designed to keep cameras, electronics, tools and other valuable equipment safe from harsh environmental conditions. Constructed from Ultra-High Impact structural copolymer, the case is unbreakable, watertight, crushproof, dustproof, chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof, making it suitable for demanding professional and outdoor applications.

The case features a 0.25" (6.4mm) neoprene O-ring and easy-open double-throw latches with stainless steel padlock protectors to provide a secure, reliable seal. An automatic pressure equalisation valve allows the case to quickly equalise internal pressure following changes in altitude or atmospheric pressure.

Inside, the Pelican 1400 includes a three-piece foam interior consisting of an egg-crate foam lid section, a Pick N' Pluck foam section for custom equipment configuration, and a 1.0" blank bottom foam section for additional cushioning and protection. The open-cell core with solid-wall design adds strength and durability while protecting your equipment during transport.

A comfortable rubber over-moulded folding handle makes the case easy to carry, while stainless steel hardware provides long-term durability. With an operating temperature range of -40 to +210°F (-40 to +95°C) and IP67 protection, including resistance to 1 metre of water submersion for up to 30 minutes, the Pelican 1400 is built to protect equipment in challenging conditions. It also meets Def Stan 81-41/STANAG 4280 and ATA 300 certification requirements.
