An ultra-compact medium-telephoto lens designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, the Lumix S 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens from Panasonic offers a unique perspective for capturing portraits and detailed close-ups. Panasonic's incorporation of their dual-phase linear motor system ensures high-speed autofocusing performance. Sporting a highly lightweight design, this lens weighs just 10.5 oz, making it ideal for traveling. The lens's construction greatly reduces Chromatic and spherical aberrations, which include three aspherical elements.
Dual Phase Linear Motor
A newly developed dual-phase linear motor suppresses focus breathing and allows near-silent lens operation. Not only is this motor a benefit for still photography, it is also a great asset for capturing high-quality video. Aside from providing high lens performance, this compact motor design reduces the overall size and allows for class-leading mobility.
Macro Design
A 1:1 magnification ratio and a minimum focusing distance of 8" is available for working with close-up subjects. The featured 9-bladed circular diaphragm creates a flattering, round bokeh. Focus bracketing with this lens allows you to capture images at multiple focal points and avoid an excessively shallow depth of field in your images.

The Lumix S 100mm f/2.8 delivers crisp image sharpness while maintaining its compactness by incorporating three aspherical elements, two ultra extra-low dispersion elements, and one extra-low dispersion element.
