Shure ULXD1 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with TA4M (H51: 534 to 598 MHz)
The ULXD1 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter from Shure is a compact, professional-grade transmitter designed for use with ULX-D digital wireless systems. Housed in a rugged yet lightweight aluminum chassis, the ULXD1 delivers pristine audio quality, stable RF performance, and secure transmission with AES 256-bit encryption—making it ideal for live sound, broadcast, corporate AV, theatre, and house-of-worship applications.
Equipped with a TA4M (Mini-XLR) input, the ULXD1 supports a wide range of lavalier and headset microphones for hands-free presentations and performances, as well as optional adapter cables for instrument use (microphones and cables sold separately). It transmits clear, accurate 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio across its full operating range of up to approximately 330 feet, ensuring consistent sound quality throughout the performance area.
Designed for ease of use in fast-paced professional environments, the ULXD1 syncs instantly with compatible receivers via infrared at the press of a button. Shure’s proprietary Gain Ranging technology automatically optimizes input levels, eliminating the need for manual gain adjustment on the transmitter. A multifunction power button doubles as a mute switch while maintaining RF lock, and frequency and power lockout features help prevent accidental changes during live events. The backlit LCD provides quick access to key settings and status information, including frequency, group and channel, RF output power, mute and lock state, and remaining battery life.
Flexible power options further enhance reliability on set or on stage. The ULXD1 operates for up to 11 hours on two AA batteries, while the optional SB900A lithium-ion rechargeable battery (sold separately) extends runtime to over 12 hours with precise time-remaining metering and no memory effect. External charging contacts enable docked charging with optional Shure charging stations, including network-enabled models that allow remote power monitoring through Wireless Workbench software.
