    Sigma 50mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime (Sony E, Feet)

The Global Vision still line's high-quality optics and mechanics are combined with a cine-focused design in Sigma's FF High-Speed Prime Lenses. It is also available in Canon EF and PL mounts. This 50mm Sony E mount prime is a wide focal length in the series, providing full-frame sensor coverage, 6 to 8K resolution, and a T1.5 aperture in a small, lightweight package. The mounting of lens accessories like matte boxes, follow focuses, and lens control motors are made simpler and faster by the lens line's shared 95mm front diameter and similar physical characteristics.

The 9-bladed iris produces pleasing bokeh effects that are out of focus and flaring and ghosting have been reduced. Standardization of colour reproduction makes colour correction simpler. There are 180° of focus barrel rotation and consistent lens gear positions across the range of lenses. The FF High-Speed Primes also have an industry-standard 0.8 module gear pitch, a clickless iris with linear markings, dampeners on each gear ring for silent operation, and engraved markings for long-lasting visibility. Focus marks are measured in feet, and some of them feature luminous paint for better visibility at night.

The dust- and water-resistant metal lens body has a support foot built into it to relieve stress on your camera's lens mount. An authorised Sigma service centre can convert the Canon EF and Sony E mount versions of the FF High-Speed Prime lens from one to the other if you want to use it with a different camera (not available for PL mounts).
