Operating in the 662-694 MHz UHF band, it provides a stable, interference-resistant signal with 2240 tunable frequencies and support for up to 90 transmitters per band.
At its core, the system combines a compact bodypack transmitter with the ME2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone, delivering natural speech capture with discreet placement. The transmitter offers a simple locking mini-jack input, mute switch, and up to 12 hours of operation using the optional Sennheiser rechargeable battery pack (8 hours with AA batteries).
The included half-rack tabletop receiver features dual removable BNC antennas, balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" outputs, and an OLED display for real-time monitoring. With a dynamic range of 134 dB, 1.9 ms latency, and 328 ft (100 m) line-of-sight range, the EW-D system ensures professional-grade audio performance.
