Synco Xtalk XMax2 Wireless Intercom with 2 Dual-Ear Headsets (2.4 GHz)
The Synco Xtalk XMax2 is a full-duplex wireless intercom system designed to deliver clear, uninterrupted communication in an actual wireless setup without the need for a bodypack or hub. This kit includes two dual-ear headsets, either of which can be set as the master headset thanks to Synco’s flexible MasterFree Algorithm. Utilising both 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth technology, the system ensures stable and reliable transmission up to 500 metres, making it ideal for film and video productions, event coordination, and other professional environments. The XMax2 is also compatible with Synco’s XTalk X and XPro models, allowing seamless integration with existing setups.
The headset’s dual-ear design features comfortable foam earcups that contour perfectly to the ears, providing excellent sound isolation. Built to withstand the elements, each headset is rain and wind-resistant, ensuring clear communication in outdoor conditions. Powering the headsets are 1050mAh rechargeable batteries, offering up to 24 hours of continuous use on a single charge. The included charging station makes recharging quick and convenient.
Transmission reliability is enhanced with dual external antennas, maintaining a strong connection across long distances and large venues. Boost mode activates intelligent spectrum switching to improve signal quality in environments with interference from nearby walls, buildings, or fast-moving objects. One-button frequency switching is also included, allowing for easy adjustment of signal settings for optimal performance.
Advanced audio features include AI noise cancellation and a dual-mic algorithm that analyses ambient noise and adjusts cancellation levels accordingly. This ensures crystal-clear communication even in noisy settings while still allowing ambient sounds to pass through when you need to engage with people nearby.
Bluetooth connectivity enables quick switching between intercom communication and mobile device use. In communication mode, the headset supports exclusive team talk, while Bluetooth mode allows music playback and phone calls with full noise cancellation and spatial audio.
The system supports flexible team communication, accommodating up to 13 users by grouping headsets into master and satellite units. The Xtalk Link function allows groups to be split, merged, or expanded without limit, and a selectable master feature keeps the system operational even if the original master headset fails.
Real-time monitoring via a 3.5mm input lets users listen to audio feeds from cameras or recorders while staying connected to the team, making it ideal for directors, sound technicians, and on-set supervisors.
Dominate Mode allows the master headset to mute all remote units with the press of a button, ensuring clear and focused instructions when needed. The Synco EasyGo software facilitates one-click pairing, firmware updates, and low-latency settings, reducing delay to as low as 80 milliseconds with five headsets or 180 milliseconds with thirteen for smooth and seamless communication across your team.
