The Manfrotto 290 Xtra Aluminum Tripod with 128RC Micro Fluid Video Head pairs a 3-section tripod with a lightweight head designed to support loads up to 8.8 lb. The system weighs in at 5.6 lb and offers a minimum shooting height of 15.9" and a maximum height of 67.5" with the centre column extended. The tripod's 3-section legs have flip locks to individually change the height of each leg, with each lock's tension adjustable to help maintain a tight lock over the tripod's lifespan. Four leg angles allow you to position the tripod in a variety of ways, with rubber feet providing traction on slippery surfaces. To aid in carrying the tripod, a rubber grip is provided on one of the legs.
The included 128RC Micro Fluid Head provides smooth movement and independent pan and lock locks. It comes with a pan bar for pan/tilt operation and a 200PL type quick-release plate for attaching and removing your camera from the head. Also included with the tripod is a shoulder bag for added comfort and protection during transport.
