The Atomos Ninja TX 5.2" HDMI/12G-SDI Wi-Fi-Enabled Camera Monitor/Recorder is a fully reengineered, feature-packed addition to the classic Ninja monitor line, designed for professional on-set monitoring and recording. Its 5.2" IPS touchscreen offers a bright 1500 cd/m² display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, HDR support, 8/10-bit colour processing, and Rec. 709 gamut coverage, ensuring accurate colour reproduction even in bright daylight. The monitor supports Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration and accommodates a wide range of log formats from Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon, while allowing custom 3D LUT uploads and HDR conversion to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision.
Powered by a redesigned AtomOS Linux operating system, the Ninja TX delivers a sleeker, cooler, and more efficient user experience. Its connectivity options are extensive, featuring both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 input/output, loop-through and cross-conversion capabilities, and integrated AtomX Connect technology for Wi-Fi streaming, Camera-to-Cloud workflows, and direct uploads to ATOMOSphere, Adobe Frame.io, and Dropbox. The monitor also includes an NDI/HX3 license for integration as an NDI source or receiver, and AirGlu RF/Bluetooth timecode sync enables seamless syncing of cameras, audio recorders, and monitors across your production.
Recording is flexible and futureproof, with support for 8K30 RAW via HDMI, CFexpress Type B cards, and dual USB-C outputs using PCIe and NVMe protocols. The monitor also captures comprehensive metadata, including white balance, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, gamma, and colour gamut.
