The Behringer FBQ2496 Feedback Destroyer PRO is a professional 2-channel feedback suppressor and parametric EQ designed to quickly detect and eliminate troublesome feedback frequencies in live sound systems. Its ultra-fast feedback detection system can locate and suppress up to 40 feedback frequencies, helping protect performers, audiences and sound systems while keeping the rest of the audio signal virtually unaffected.

Using ultra-narrow notch filters with bandwidths of up to 1/60th of an octave, the FBQ2496 targets feedback precisely without significantly altering the overall sound. Its 24-bit / 96 kHz A/D and D/A converters and 32-bit DSP provide high-quality audio processing, while the Panic button provides immediate feedback suppression when unexpected feedback occurs.

The FBQ2496 offers several operating modes for different live sound applications. Auto mode continuously monitors the mix and automatically sets filters, while Single-Shot mode detects feedback and locks the filters until manually reset. Manual mode allows up to 40 fully parametric filters to be programmed with adjustable frequency, bandwidth and gain.

With balanced inputs, servo-balanced outputs, extensive MIDI connectivity and an internal universal-voltage power supply, the FBQ2496 can be used to protect both PA mains and monitor mixes or as a versatile creative sound-shaping tool.
