The Behringer DI4000 V2 is a versatile four-channel active direct injection (DI) box designed for both studio and live sound applications. Housed in a compact 1 RU rackmount chassis, it provides impedance and signal matching for connecting unbalanced instruments and line-level sources—including guitars, basses, keyboards, effect processors, and other devices—to mixers, amplifiers, and PA systems.

Each channel provides XLR and 1/4" TS unbalanced inputs along with a parallel 1/4" TS link output for connecting to an amplifier or monitor console. Switchable input attenuation accommodates a wide range of signal levels, from high-impedance guitar outputs through to speaker-level signals from PA amplifiers, with support for direct connection to speaker outputs of up to 3000W. A +20 dB gain switch is also available for boosting low-level signals.

The front panel provides individual balanced XLR outputs along with dedicated controls for ground lift, phase reversal, an 8 kHz high-cut filter, and +20 dB gain. Illuminated switches make operation easier in dark environments, while accurate 8-segment LED level meters provide at-a-glance monitoring of each channel's signal level.

Behringer OT-1 transformers deliver an ultra-flat frequency response for clean and transparent signal reproduction. Additional features include gold-plated XLR and 1/4" connectors and an internal 100-240 VAC switch-mode power supply designed for low-noise operation and efficient power consumption. With its comprehensive signal-handling tools, the DI4000 V2 is well suited to managing multiple direct sources in recording studios, live sound systems, and stage setups.
