Avoid exposing the chart to bright light and store it in its cover when it is not in use. Also, avoid touching the colour patches and protect them from dust, high temperature, humidity, or chemical fumes. Depending on use, Calibrite recommends replacing the ColorChecker charts every two to four years depending on the amount of light to which the ColorChecker targets/chart is exposed.

This updated version features four dedicated calibration targets that help you fine-tune exposure, white balance, and color accuracy directly in-camera or during post-production. The Video Color Target is tailored for video production, offering a range of chromatic color chips, skin tones, gray balance chips, and highlight-to-shadow references to achieve precise color rendering. Complementing this is the Grayscale Target, which provides clearly defined white, mid-tone gray (40 IRE), and deep black reference points for accurate exposure control.
For fast and consistent results, the White Balance Target allows you to set a custom neutral point in-camera—reducing the need for time-consuming corrections later.
