The DJI RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module enables reliable tracking when used with a DJI RS 5 gimbal stabiliser. This compact module attaches via a magnetic mount and securely locks in place, enabling the gimbal’s ActiveTrack technology to smoothly follow and frame human subjects from up to 10 meters away.

The module supports multiple tracking modes and can be controlled directly from the gimbal or with hand gestures. You can start or stop tracking, switch between orbit mode, POV/selfie mode, or backward tracking shots, and the system keeps your subject perfectly framed. Even if the subject temporarily leaves the frame, the tracker can quickly reacquire them for continuous filming.

For intuitive status updates, the RS Enhanced Tracking Module features a tricolour LED ring—green, yellow, and red—which indicates modes such as sleep, in use, temporary subject loss, adjusting, and countdown. This makes it a versatile and user-friendly tool for filmmakers and content creators seeking reliable, hands-free subject tracking.
