Elinchrom EL-Skyport Receiver Plus
The EL-Skyport Receiver Plus from Elinchrom offers sixteen channels—8 in Normal mode and 8 in Speed mode—along with four discrete groups for different or sequentially triggered lighting setups. It can reliably trigger at distances of up to 200 metres. Channels 1, 3, and 7 are compatible with all enabled EL-Skyport units, while channels 1, 3, 7, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 20 are compatible with the EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus and EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus HS. The receiver includes a micro-USB port for firmware updates and runs on standard AA batteries, which are widely available and sold separately.
The receiver features a metal hot shoe on top, allowing you to fire shoe-mount flashes remotely, and a cold shoe on the bottom for mounting to a light stand with a swivel or other accessory. All functions are easily adjustable, and it supports both Normal and Speed sync modes, making it suitable for use with leaf shutter cameras. This listing is for the receiver only, and it must be triggered by an EL-Skyport transmitter.
Using the EL-Skyport Receiver Plus ensures reliable and consistent triggering, giving you flexibility when setting up multiple strobes. Its numerous channels provide options for working in complex or multi-studio setups, while using standard AA batteries eliminates the need for fiddly button cells, making it convenient and practical for all-day shoots.
