Insta360 Mic Pro 2-Person Wireless System

The Insta360 Mic Pro 2-Person Wireless System is a compact and lightweight 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system designed for two-person interviews, vlogging, content creation, streaming, and mobile production. With a wireless range of up to 1312 ft / 400 m, the system provides reliable audio transmission to cameras, smartphones, computers, and other compatible recording devices.

The system includes two coin-shaped wireless transmitters and a camera-mount receiver with an integrated cold shoe mount, touchscreen display, and control dial. The transmitters can also connect directly to compatible Insta360 action cameras via Bluetooth 5.4, providing a streamlined setup without requiring the receiver.

Transmitters with 32-Bit Float Onboard Recording

Each transmitter features 32GB of internal storage for recording 32-bit float audio, providing a wide dynamic range and greater flexibility when recording unpredictable audio levels. Recordings can be transferred quickly to a computer or mobile device via USB-C.

An NPU-powered AI noise-cancellation chip, automatic gain control, and low-cut filter work together to produce clean and intelligible speech. The transmitters also feature selectable voice tone presets—Standard, Rich, and Bright—allowing you to tailor the character of recorded voices.

Receiver with Onboard Controls

The camera-mount receiver features a touchscreen display and control dial for intuitive adjustment of recording and wireless settings. A 3.5mm TRS output provides connection to compatible cameras and recording devices.

The included USB-C adapter allows the receiver to connect directly to compatible laptops and mobile devices. A Lightning adapter can also be added using a separately available accessory. The receiver supports up to two audio channels in standard operation, with supported modes and accessories allowing up to four audio signals.

Multi-Person and Multi-Camera Recording

The system supports Multi-Person Recording, allowing up to four transmitters to be connected to a single receiver for up to four synchronized audio tracks. This makes the system suitable for interviews, panel discussions, group content, and other multi-person productions.

Multi-Cam Recording allows up to four receivers to pair with a single transmitter for synchronized audio across multiple cameras. This function requires the separately available Camera Adapter when used with compatible Sony cameras.

The receiver also supports timecode synchronization, helping streamline audio alignment and postproduction for multi-camera productions.

Customizable E-Ink Displays

Each transmitter features a 1.22" six-colour E-Ink display capable of displaying images, logos, and other graphics. Using the Insta360 app, users can upload custom artwork for a personalized and professional appearance.

Three-Microphone Array and Directional Pickup

Each transmitter incorporates a three-microphone array with three selectable pickup patterns:

• Supercardioid: Ideal for solo streaming, ASMR, voiceovers, and focused speech

• Figure-8: Well suited to interviews and two-person conversations

• Omnidirectional: Provides versatile sound capture from all directions

With a separately available USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, the transmitters can also be connected to compatible lavalier microphones for a more discreet and professional setup.

Automatic Gain Control and Voice Tone Presets

Automatic gain control continuously adjusts recording levels according to vocal intensity, reducing the need for manual gain adjustments. Two selectable modes can be used to accommodate different noise environments.

Three voice tone presets—Standard, Rich, and Bright—allow you to emphasize different characteristics of human speech for a tailored sound.

Direct Insta360 Camera Connection

Using Bluetooth 5.4, both Mic Pro transmitters can connect directly to compatible Insta360 action cameras, including the X5, Ace Pro 2, and GO Ultra. This allows high-fidelity 48 kHz audio to be recorded directly to the action camera, simplifying the workflow for vlogging and mobile content creation.

Long Battery Life and Charging Case

The receiver provides up to 11 hours of operation, while each transmitter offers up to 10 hours of battery life. A quick 5-minute charge provides approximately 1.5 hours of additional use, helping minimise downtime during recording sessions.

The included charging case provides additional power for the system, extending total runtime by up to 30 hours and providing a convenient solution for transporting and recharging the transmitters and receiver between shoots.
