Unlock the full dynamic range and colour performance of your Panasonic Lumix S1 or S5 II with this Filmmaker Upgrade Software Key. This code enables a range of advanced video functions, further expanding the already impressive video capabilities of Panasonic’s full-frame Lumix mirrorless cameras.
Once installed on the Lumix S1, the camera gains access to V-Log L gamma and V-Gamut, delivering a flatter colour profile and an extended dynamic range of approximately 15 stops. This provides greater flexibility during post-production colour grading. V-Log L also makes it easier to match footage with VariCam systems that use standard V-Log, as both profiles share the same characteristic curve and LUT. The upgrade also enables 4K60 recording with 4:2:2 10-bit output to an external recorder via HDMI, along with internal 4K30/24 recording with 4:2:2 10-bit sampling on the S1.
When installed on the Lumix S5 II, the software unlocks 12-bit RAW video recording to a compatible external drive, with resolutions up to 5.9K at 30p.
This upgrade can only be activated on one camera and is compatible with the Lumix S1 and Lumix S5 II only. It is not compatible with the Lumix S1R.
