The Pelican 1520 Watertight Case with Foam (Black) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer, which makes it extremely strong and durable. It includes a 0.25" (6.4mm) neoprene o-ring, ABS latches that seal perfectly, and an automatic purge valve for quick equalisation after changes in atmospheric pressure.

Pelican Cases Never Disappoint
I went looking for some cases to protect several sets of high quality audio recorders and related equipment, we needed something to not only keep all the gear together but protect it from the elements and potential damage that comes from daily transport.Having previously purchased a variety of Pelican cases to house and protect video equipment and specialised research equipment, the 1520 seemed the perfect choice for our audio gear and it did not disappoint. Our equipment is largely used by staff with limited technical training and spends much of its time bouncing around in cars when in the field, the Pelican 1520 is perfectly suited to this kind of daily use and has never let us down. Once we started using Pelican cases our equipment repair instances have reduced to almost zero.
