The PreSonus StudioLive Series III SE 24 is a powerful 24-channel digital mixer, audio interface, and multitrack recorder, built for live sound engineers, recording professionals, and hybrid production workflows. Building on the legacy of StudioLive consoles, the SE 24 enhances the Series III platform with an upgraded layout, expanded DSP control, and full AVB networking—designed to streamline complex mixes and meet modern production demands.

Equipped with 25 touch-sensitive motorized faders (24 channels + 1 master), the SE 24 provides precise tactile control over input channels, buses, DCAs, and FX returns. Each input features a remote-controllable XMAX-R mic preamp, high-headroom analog gain stage, and per-channel Fat Channel processing, including high-pass filter, gate, compressor, limiter, and 4-band parametric EQ. Four internal stereo effects processors provide flexible reverb and delay routing.

Under the hood, the FLEX DSP engine delivers up to 130 simultaneous processors, and supports vintage-modeled compressors and EQs drawn from classic analog hardware. With 16 configurable FlexMixes, 4 dedicated subgroups, 24 DCA groups, and advanced scene management, the SE 24 is designed for creative mix routing and fast recall during live or broadcast events.

As a standalone recorder, the console can capture up to 34 tracks directly to SD card, while acting as a 64x64 USB audio interface for DAW sessions with Studio One (included) or third-party software. AVB networking enables low-latency digital audio transport to and from NSB stage boxes, EarMix personal monitor systems, and other StudioLive Series III devices—ensuring scalable and modular system design.

With integrated Ethernet and USB control, UC Surface software provides full offline and live remote operation, while iOS and Android apps allow for individual monitor mix control or FOH operation from anywhere in the venue. The SE 24’s streamlined chassis features an improved fader section, durable knobs, and a repositioned touchscreen for better visibility, making it well-suited for both fixed installations and touring use.
