With the Interview PRO from RODE, a wireless handheld condenser microphone that works with all RODE Series IV receivers, you can produce excellent results in any content creation or broadcast recording circumstance. With built-in GainAssist and 32-bit float recording (up to 40 hours), you'll always get the ideal take.

Modern 2.4 GHz transmission technology is used by the integrated transmitter to provide remarkably reliable audio across a considerable distance of 200m (line of sight). The superior omnidirectional condenser capsule captures a wide, natural sound that immerses you in the scene and captures every nuance of the human voice, so subjects may talk freely without worrying about where the microphone is pointed. The internal recorder supports up to 32-bit floating point / 48 kHz recording resolutions and up to 40 hours of recording (32GB internal storage). Additionally, whether you record internally or with a receiver, you will obtain crystal-clear recordings thanks to a unique design that lowers handling noise.

With the help of clever algorithms, GainAssist automatically analyzes incoming audio and adjusts your volume levels as needed to keep your audio perfectly balanced while you record. GainAssist will make up for any abrupt increase in volume by lowering the audio level for you.

It will raise the audio volume if it is quieter. As a result, any audio peaks that might have overloaded your input will be diminished, ensuring that your audio is balanced and smooth throughout the recording and preventing clipping.
