The Rycote InVision INV-HG MkIII Microphone Suspension is a heavy-duty shockmount designed to securely support shotgun microphones while minimising handling noise, rumble, and vibration during speech-capturing applications. Its large patented Lyre suspension cradle accommodates most microphones measuring 19 to 34 mm in diameter, including popular models such as the Sennheiser MKH 416 and MKH 60.
The cradle provides a secure, non-slip fit and stabilises heavier microphones, while allowing windscreens to be fitted without sagging. A heavy-duty swivel with star knob firmly secures the microphone in place, making the INV-HG MkIII suitable for both boom operation and static stand mounting.
Built from durable Hytrel, the patented Lyre suspension system provides excellent shock and vibration isolation without relying on traditional elastic components. An integrated cable clamp secures excess cable and helps reduce cable-borne noise. The suspension is mounted on a miniature bar with a 3/8" threaded base, with a 5/8" stand adapter included for versatile mounting to microphone stands and boom poles.
