The Shure ULXD4 Digital Wireless Receiver is a professional single-channel digital wireless receiver designed for use with Shure ULX-D wireless systems. Operating on the L51 frequency band (632–696 MHz), it delivers exceptional audio quality, dependable RF performance, and advanced networking capabilities for live sound, broadcast, corporate, and installed AV applications.
Featuring digital predictive switching diversity, the ULXD4 maintains stable RF reception by intelligently selecting the strongest signal, while 256-bit AES encryption ensures secure wireless transmission for environments where privacy is essential. High Density mode allows significantly more channels to operate simultaneously within a limited RF spectrum, making it ideal for conferences, theatres, and large-scale productions.
The receiver automatically scans for the cleanest available frequencies. It deploys them to compatible transmitters via IR sync, while built-in interference detection provides alerts on both the receiver and Wireless Workbench 6 software. Front-panel controls offer up to 60 dB of gain adjustment, complemented by a clear LCD with adjustable brightness and contrast, dedicated RF and audio level meters with peak indicators, and a convenient control lockout function.
For larger wireless systems, the ULXD4 features 10/100 Ethernet networking for simplified setup, monitoring, and integration with Wireless Workbench 6, AMX, and Crestron control systems. It also supports frequency coordination with the Shure Axient Spectrum Manager, making it well suited for complex, multi-channel wireless deployments.
Built with a durable metal chassis, removable ½-wave antennas, and supplied rack-mount hardware, the ULXD4 is engineered to provide reliable, secure, and scalable wireless performance in demanding professional environments.
