The L-Series/NP-F970 USB-C Rechargeable Camera Battery from SmallRig can power any video camera, LED light, or monitor that uses Sony L-Series/NP-F970-type batteries. This NP-F970 battery has a black housing, a capacity of 76.65Wh, an output voltage of 7.3V, and is compatible with a wide range of Sony cameras and production equipment. Fast charging is made possible by the battery's USB-C PD 3.0 input, which may also be used as an output. The battery has a 5V USB-A output that can produce up to 27W of power, allowing it to be utilised as a power bank to charge smaller devices.

The lightweight plastic housing has safety features, including overload protection and fire resistance. When using 36W USB PD fast charging, it can be fully charged in about 3.5 hours with a separately purchased charger, or it can be charged with a conventional L-series charger. A USB-C to USB-C cable and a cover to shield the battery contacts when in storage are included for charging.
