Its three-point locking system secures the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw and dual side locating blocks, while built-in pads safeguard against scratches. Designed with ergonomics and access in mind, the cage allows full use of all ports, buttons, the flip screen, and battery compartment.

This cage is packed with mounting solutions for accessories and rig components:
- Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes
- 1/4"-20 locating holes for anti-twist mounting
- Cold shoe mount for microphones or lights
- Strap slot for wrist straps (ID 3848)
- QD socket for shoulder straps (ID 4118B)
- Side-mounted locating hole for rod clamps (ID 3598), magic arms (ID 3873), side handles (ID 4346)
