The top plates are secured with dual screws and can be removed to accommodate the Sony XLR Handle (XLRH2B) or Sony Electronic Viewfinder (DVFEL1B). The U-shaped cage attaches at three points using 1/4"-20 screws to provide a stable, twist-resistant connection, while integrated protective pads help prevent scratches to the camera body.
Designed for efficient handheld operation, the cage features a redesigned battery compartment lever that follows the contours of the camera, improving finger support and overall grip comfort.
