The SmallRig Cage for AirTag (MD4149) provides a secure and discreet way to mount an Apple AirTag directly to your camera for fast location tracking. Designed with two 1/4"-20 mounting screws, the cage attaches firmly to a camera body while concealing the AirTag within a streamlined enclosure. The compartment cover is made from PC material, ensuring that Bluetooth performance and tracking distance are not affected while keeping the AirTag hidden from view.
To prevent accidental removal, the AirTag is locked in place using robust M2.5 screws, helping maximise the chance of recovering your camera in the event of loss or theft. The integrated AirTag compartment features a built-in EVA pad to reduce vibration and eliminate rattling noise during operation. A continuous 1/4"-20 threaded slot (9–18mm pitch) allows additional accessories to be mounted, providing versatility across multiple shooting setups.
Note:
• Use the iPhone “Find My” app to track the AirTag via Bluetooth up to approximately 10m proximity.
• Long-distance tracking via the Find My network can extend up to 100m or more depending on scenario.
• Replacement Torx screws are recommended after extended use.
