The Zoom TCA-1 Timecode Adapter is a compact and reliable solution for adding precise timecode synchronisation to compatible Zoom recorders. Designed to streamline professional video and audio production workflows, the TCA-1 helps keep cameras, recorders, external timecode generators, and slates accurately aligned, reducing setup time on set and minimising manual synchronisation during post-production.

Connecting directly to your recorder's Remote port, the TCA-1 provides a convenient 3.5mm TRS timecode input/output for integrating with compatible cameras and external timecode equipment. Once connected, it allows your production equipment to be synchronised quickly and efficiently, making it particularly useful for multi-camera shoots, interviews, documentaries, live productions, and extended recording sessions.

At the heart of the TCA-1 is a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) that provides highly accurate timecode generation. With accuracy of up to 0.5 frames over 24 hours, the adapter helps maintain reliable synchronisation throughout long shooting days while reducing the need for frequent re-syncing.

By keeping audio and video locked to consistent timecode, the TCA-1 can significantly simplify the post-production process. Editors can quickly align recordings without relying on manual waveform matching, saving valuable time and reducing the risk of sync errors or drift.
