The bracket's 1/4"-20 mounting screw is used to attach the bottom of the gimbal battery handle to the bracket. The various 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 holes on the aluminium and stainless steel bracket and the two small NATO rails on either side allow for mounting many accessories.
