The Amaran Ray 60c RGB LED Monolight is an ultra-portable 60W lighting solution designed for creators who need full-colour versatility in a compact, travel-ready form. Measuring just 4.3 cm thick and weighing only 454 g, this IP54-rated light is built for outdoor and on-the-go shooting. Powered by amaran’s OmniColor light engine, the Ray 60c delivers greater brightness than the previous COB 60x S, while offering flexible power options and intuitive control through the FlowTurn knob, built-in NFC configuration, and the amaran app. Its extended CCT+ range of 1800–20,000 K and full 360° colour selection via HSI and RGB modes provide complete creative freedom, supported by impressively accurate colour performance with CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87 and TM-30 94/100 ratings. Despite its small footprint, the Ray 60c features a full-size Bowens mount, Ace E-Lock compatibility, and USB-C PD support, making it easy to integrate into both compact and professional setups.

Delivering up to 3910 lux at 1 m (4300 K), the Ray 60c offers strong output on its own, with even more punch available when paired with optional accessories such as the Mini Reflector or Mini Fresnel. The light’s 12 built-in FX modes—including lightning, fireworks, TV, fire and more—expand creative possibilities, while stepless 0–100% dimming ensures precise control. A Quick Operation mode, customisable shortcuts, High-Speed Photography mode and a clear TFT display make on-board adjustments fast and intuitive. The amaran app offers Bluetooth control with a generous 80 m operating range, enabling seamless adjustments during shoots.

Power flexibility is a core strength of the Ray 60c. It supports the amaran Ace E-Lock system for optional portable batteries, USB-C PD 3.0, and 12–24 V DC input. Using optional batteries like the amaran Peak 75 allows up to 46 minutes of cable-free use at full output, making the light ideal for remote locations. The IP54 weather-resistant design offers protection against dust and splashes, while the quiet 28 dBA active cooling system remains unobtrusive on video sets with selectable silent and smart fan modes.

Compatible with a wide range of Bowens-mount modifiers, the Ray 60c integrates easily into existing workflows. amaran also includes a compact 30 cm one-snap Octa Dome softbox and an Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip for fast mounting to stands or handheld use with a portable battery.
