The STORM 700x Tunable White LED Monolight arrives as Aputure’s latest high-output point-source LED, building on the success of the STORM 1200x, XT52, and 400x fixtures. Designed around Aputure’s proprietary BLAIR light engine, the 700x delivers exceptional spectral quality, superior white-light accuracy, and excellent output performance in a more compact and streamlined form factor.

With a powerful 700W output, smooth dimming technology, multiple control protocols, and a rugged IP65-rated construction, the STORM 700x stands as a premium lighting solution for filmmakers, cinematographers, and professional lighting technicians who demand precision, durability, and flexibility. The fixture ships with a 35° reflector, a control box, ProLock Bowens mount, clamp, head and power cables, and a soft rolling case for efficient transport and setup on location.

BLAIR Light Engine Performance

At the core of the STORM 700x is Aputure’s advanced BLAIR chipset, combining five LED emitters—blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red—to deliver industry-leading spectral accuracy and color fidelity.
