The Blackmagic Design ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 40 is a professional 2RU SMPTE 2110 IP monitoring and conversion solution designed for high-end broadcast and live production environments. While it features an ATEM-style control surface, its primary purpose is to convert and monitor SMPTE 2110 IP video streams on SDI and HDMI displays, providing seamless integration between IP-based workflows and traditional monitoring systems.

Equipped with dual 10G Ethernet inputs, the unit supports SMPTE 2110 IP video over redundant networks with full ST 2022-7 seamless protection switching for maximum reliability. It converts a single IP video stream into multiple outputs, including two 12G-SDI program outputs, two preview outputs, two multiview outputs, and one HDMI multiview output, allowing flexible monitoring across multiple displays.

The front panel features 40 backlit buttons for fast, intuitive control, along with a built-in LCD screen for real-time status monitoring and configuration. A dedicated 5-pin XLR talkback connection with front-panel controls enables clear communication during live production workflows, while a 1G Ethernet port provides NMOS control and switcher integration. USB-C connectivity is also included for setup and firmware updates.
