This blue-coated lens, designed to cover the Super35 sensor of cine-style cameras, has a maximum aperture of T2.1 and employs 2x magnification, achieving what is commonly referred to as "true" anamorphic imaging with a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and boasting exceptional "waterfall" bokeh and elegant blue horizontal flares.
The lens can focus at close range, avoiding constraints common with many anamorphic lenses, and its low-distortion barrel design keeps all of the desirable qualities of anamorphic photography without sacrificing image quality. With the accompanying EF bayonet, the PAVO's PL mount may be readily converted to an EF mount.
