The LaCie Rugged USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C External Hard Drive has a 1TB capacity and combines a USB 3.0 Type-C interface with data transfer speeds of up to 130 MB/s and rugged durability that offers up to 1.2m of drop resistance, 1 tonne of crush resistance, and rain resistance to make it suitable for all-terrain storage, whether you're in the field or at home. Large Lightroom libraries can be stored on them, and they can also be used for general duties or as a shuttle drive to move video from a set to a post-production facility.
Windows 7 and later and macOS 10.12 and after are both compatible with LaCie's 1TB Rugged USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C External Hard Disk, but earlier macOS versions, such as 10.9 and 10.11, should also function. Since it is powered via the USB bus, there is no need for additional power supplies when utilising it. Seagate Rescue Data Recovery Services for two years are also included, along with a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C connector. A restricted 2-year warranty offers general protection.
