Well made
Very well made and strong enough to handle very heavy microphones, but that does come at the expense of weight - it's very heavy!

Check your height
My only problem with this stand is that its too tall by a few inches, even in it's lowest position. I admit that I didn't check the dimensions before purchase, but assumed to would be a great combination with the podcaster and shock mount. When combined and sitting on an average desk, it is a little too high. The product would be perfect if it were an inch or two shorter, apart from that it is solid and very good.
