A rechargeable battery pack for the Sennheiser G2, G3, and G4 family wireless systems is the Sennheiser BA 2015 (transmitter and receiver). Instead of two conventional AA cells, the battery, which has two rechargeable NiMH cells, is put into the battery compartment. A built-in sensor provides battery status information, keeps an eye on charging temperature, and prevents non-rechargeable batteries from being charged. Chargers for batteries are offered separately.
